Fantail Bay Campsite

Fantail Bay is a quaint (16-site) DOC campsite approximately 20km from Fletcher Bay. Surrounded by mature Pohutukawa, this campsite is as picturesque as it is popular during the busy summer holidays. Terraced sites grace a gentle hillside with views of the Firth of Thames at Fantail Bay. 

Bookings are required and can be made via the Department of Conservation online booking system. Dogs and fires are not permitted at any time. 

Amenities include non-potable water and long-drop style loos.
