Broken Hills Campsite
Its location at the end of the road provides a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Broken Hills campsite is a perfect base for exploring mining relics or relaxing and enjoying a dip in the river. The flat reserve is divided into multiple areas by strands of mature trees, providing shelter and privacy during your stay.
A short walk from the campsite is the Collins Drive and Water Race Tracks. There are also shorter, family-friendly walks, such as the Government Battery Walk and the picturesque Gem of the Boom Loop.
Important. Book your stay on the Department of Conservation website before arrival, as a gate code is required.
Amenities include a cooking shelter, composting-style loos and drinking water.
