Aukopae Landing

A short distance from Ohinepane is the historic Aukopae Landing. 100m down Saddler Rd, a roadside sign by a small one-lane bridge marks the 2-minute walk to the landing. Additional information is available on a weathered Historic Places interpretation panel at the roadside and the landing site.

Parking is on the side of the narrow gravel road. Not suitable for camper vans or large vehicles, though it is a short walk from the gravel area at the intersection with the Forgotten World Highway.
