Hipapatua Recreation reserve (Reids Farm)

This freedom camping spot is divided into three sections. Day parking, Campsites A & B.
Campsite A is the best developed and accessed from the day parking lot. It has been closed for maintenance for some time to our understanding, at the time of writing this.

Campsite B. This undeveloped campsite appears to get very busy. Flat areas are limited. It is recommend having some blocks to level up your camper. All toilet and washing facilities are located at the day parking/campsite A. Accessed to facilkities are by a haphazard track down the hill or by following the slightly longer route along the footpath.
Vehicle access is from the road 100m before the main reserve.

Boasting views over the clear blue waters of the Waikato River and upper Huka falls, Hipapatua reserve is hard to beat.
